The File menu contains the standard Windows file handling operations with options for copying and exporting to other programs. Several of the options are also available from the icon bar.

New
|
Creates a new project.

Open. . .
|
Brings up the Open File dialog box so you can open a project.

Close
|
Closes the current file or, if multiple files are open, the file on top
|
Save
|
Saves the file. If you have not yet saved the current work to a file, the Save File As dialog box lets you specify where to save the project file.

Save As . . .
|
Brings up the Save File As dialog box so you can specify where to save the project file or change the file name
|
Export
|
Export the file as Windows Metafile (.emf) or an image file
|
Page Setup. . .
|
Displays the page setup dialog box for choosing a printer and print options
|
Print Preview
|
Displays the printout by pages
|
Print. . .
|
Displays the standard system Print dialog
|
Recent files
|
Click to display a list of the most recently used files. Selecting one opens it.
|
Exit
|
Exits the program, after prompting for save
|
